Comprehending the significance of ensuring perfect quality of the basic raw material, the HERO Group established its own rolling mill for steel processing in 1990. As a distinctive effort of the HERO Group towards backward integration, the company was commissioned with a production capacity of 50,000 MT per annum. Over the years the company has grown and possesses an installed capacity of 1, 30,000 MT per annum. This was made possible particularly with the installation of an additional 6-Hi Cold Reduction Mill, based on a joint engineering and design by MECON and Hero Cycles Ltd, along with hydrogen annealing.

We manufacture CR strips with grades of mild steel in Drawing, Deep Drawing, Extra Deep Drawing, in Medium and High Carbon, SAE 1020, SAE 1040, SAE 1045, SAE 1050, SAE 1080, Cortton Steel and IF Steel. We have an installed production capacity of 1300000 TPA which can process Strip thickness from 0.15mm to 5.00 mm and width of 16mm to 760 mm.

Products are available in coil form as well as in sheets with lengths of 3500 mm Max.

Galvanised Steel in plain and Corrugated Galvanised Sheets.
We process steel in a highly automated hot dip process to galvanise it. Stringent quality principles are followed to ensure that the finished product is free from galvanising defects like white rust and zinc peel off.

Our products mostly conform to IS 277/85 and JIS 3302 1987.

Pre-Painted Steel Coils
Pre-painted galvanized steel coils & sheets, are treated with chemicals to enhance it's paint adhesion and corrosion resistance. Epoxy and Polyester resins are applied by reverse coating technique and baked in sophisticated computer controlled oven. The product is highly resistant to corrosion and weathering and has excellent workability and durability.
